2 stk butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup Sugar
2 x Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla extract
2 cup All-purpose flour
2/3 cup Hersheys cocoa
3/4 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1 pkt (12-oz) hersheys semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat oven to 350F. In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add to butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or just until set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. About 4+1/2 dozen cookies.
