Instructions: Cream margarine; gradually adding sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Blend in sour cream. Mix together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, nutmeg and cloves; gradually add to creamed mixture, reserving small portion. Add fruit, raisins and nuts to remaining flour; stir into batter. Drop by rounded teaspoons about 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Top each cookie with a piece of candied cherry. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 - 12 minutes. Remove immediately to wire rack to cool.
