Instructions: Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Combine milk and orange rind. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and rind. Mix in walnuts. Place in greased 8" x 8" pan and bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Glaze: Combine honey, sugar, water, and lemon juice in saucepan. Boil for 4 to 5 minutes. Cool syrup; pour over top of hot cake. Email this Recipe:
