Instructions: Combine sugar, corn syrup and vinegar in a heavy saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Continue cooking without stirring until a candy thermometer reaches 300 degrees. Remove candy from heat, quickly stir in soda and mix well. Pour into a lightly buttered 9 inch by 9 inch by 2 inch pan.
Do not spread; candy spreads itself. Cool. Break into pieces and dip in melted chocolate, if desired. Email this Recipe:
