300 gm horse gram soaked for 8 hours and left to sprout for 8 hours
900 ml watcr
6 x kokam
2 tsp sunflower oil
4 clv garlic coarsely crushed
Instructions:
Instructions: Simmer the horse gram in the water until soft.

Remove from the heat and drain reserving the gram for the next recipe.

Add the salt and kokum to the water

Heat the oil and fry the garlic until it just begins to change colour.

Pour over the seasoned gram water.

Serve very hot.

A light dish with a musky undernote which is normally eaten with rice.
