Instructions: Whisk together the first 7 ingredients. Using a food processor fitted with a shredding blade, process the cabbage, carrot and red onion. Chop up the green onions and mix all the vegetables together. Toss the slaw with the dressing and adjust the salt and pepper to taste.
NOTES : Anyone who knows me knows how much I love horseradish. Especially hot horseradish. Im not suggesting you make this one as hot as Id like it, but anyway it comes, its a nice change from the usual creamy - and therefore richer in fat - type of coleslaw were all used to. Personally, Id use fresh horseradish peeled and chopped in a food processor, or a bottle of "prepared" horseradish - I dont find the creamy horseradish "sauce" flavorful enough. Email this Recipe:
