2 cup Water
2 x Family-size tea bags
3 qt Apple cider
1/2 cup Lemon juice
1 cup Sugar
6 whl allspice
6 whl cloves
6 x 3" cinnamon sticks
6 whl star anise
1 lt Bottle burgundy
Instructions:
Instructions: Bring water to a boil and remove from heat. Steep tea bags, covered, for 5 minutes. Remove bags while squeezing gently. Add cider and next 6 ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Discard spiced. Stir in wine and heat thoroughly. Ladle into mugs and garnish.
