Instructions: In a medium saucepan over medium low heat, mix all ingredients, stirring constantly until the sauce starts to thicken, about 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove from heat & let cool. Store in the fridge. Shake or stir well before using. The arrowroot gives the sauce enough body that it stands up to heating. Variation: Substitute an equal amount of water for the skim milk for a fudge sauce thats closer to dark chocolate. For Chocolate Fondue: Heat up "Hot Fudgy Milk Chocolate Sauce" & dip banana, apple & kiwi slices in it, along with strawberries, marshmallows & "Gooey Lemon Cake" (see recipe). You can also dunk "Downy Breadsticks" (see recipe). Makes 1 pint; a 3 tablespoon serving is fat-free. Email this Recipe:
