with Candied Garlic Sauce

----------------- Meat coating mix: ----------------
1/2 cup finely crushed cornflakes (125mL)
2 tbl cornstarch (25 mL)
1/2 tsp pepper (2 mL)
2 tsp paprika (10 mL)
1 lb boneless, skinless turkey meat (500 g)
1 x egg white, lightly beaten (1)
Vegetable oil spray
----------------- Sauce: ----------------
4 x cloves garlic, sliced lengthwise (4)
5 tbl white sugar (90 mL)
1/2 cup white wine vinegar (125 mL)
1/2 tsp hot red pepper flakes (2 mL)
Instructions:
Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 400F/200C.

2. Combine coating mix in plastic bag and set aside.

3. Cut turkey into 1/2 inch/1 cm cubes. Stir turkey into egg whites. Toss with coating mix in plastic bag.

4. Lightly coat baking sheet with vegetable oil spray. Arrange turkey on sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Remove turkey from oven and let stand for 5 minutes.

5. Meanwhile, in medium saucepan, combine sauce ingredients, bring to boil and continue to cook until sauce is reduced and turned light brown. Toss turkey in finished sauce.

6. Add sliced red bell pepper, cover and heat over medium heat for 1 minute.

Transfer to platter and serve.
