Instructions: Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl. Divide mixture in half. Use 1/2 of rub to smear on chicken breast halves on flesh, under the skin.
To grill chicken place skin-side down on oiled grid over medium-hot fire. Grill uncovered, until skin is browned, 6 to 7 minutes. Turn over and grill 6 to 7 minutes longer. Cover grill and continue cooking 10 minutes or until done, turning once. For boneless chicken breasts, grill a total of 10 to 12 minutes, turning once. To serve, remove and discard chicken skin.
