Instructions: Melt margarine in sauce pan. Add bacon, onion, ham, celery, peppers and garlic. Cook until softened. Add all seasonings and mix. Cook for 2 minutes. Stir in flour and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Add water, chicken base, vegetable base, tomatoes, and Worcestershire. Mix Well.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for approximately 20 minutes or until desired thickness. Serve on Houlihans Jambalaya Rice (see recipe). Garnish with cooked jumbo shrimp if desired. Email this Recipe:
