Instructions: Okay...this is how you cook wheat berries. Or, this is the way I did it...and they came out great. I started with 2 cups soft wheat berries. Soaked them over night in plenty of water. Didnt drain them, just turned the stove on and boiled until done the next morning. It took awhile...45 minutes probably. Maybe more. And I had to add water a couple of times. I salted the water too, btw. They are really good. I have more cooked than I need for my salad so I think Ill combine them with some cooked sweet potato, mexican seasonings, and wrap the mixture in a tortilla for dinner. Yum yum. Hubby will probably want cheese on his. I wont.
