Instructions: Saute in large skillet: ground beef, celery, carrots, onions and garlic, till onions are clear, add the catsup, water and salt. Simmer together while preparing biscuit dough.
Biscuit Dough: Sift dry ingredients together and cut in shortening. Add milk to make a soft dough. Place on a floured board and knead lightly a few seconds, using as little flour as possible on board. Spread 1 cup of vegetables, that were simmered together, on top of dough, rolled out. Roll up like a jelly-roll and cut into 1-inch thick sections. Mix meat and remaining vegetables in baking dish, top with biscuits. Bake at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes. Email this Recipe:
