Yield: 1 quart In a bowl using a potato masher or wooden spoon, break up the peaches with sugar and vanilla until coarsely mashed. Stir in the cream or milk and cream. Taste and add more sugar, if needed. Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturers directions. When thickened, scrape it into a plastic container, cover and freeze at least 1 hour. Let ice cream soften slightly in the refrigerator before serving. Email this Recipe:
