*Cauliflower with peas, glazed with a blend of apple juice and mustard. *Steamed carrots with orange zest and marjoram/thyme. *Acorn squash half with mixture of chopped broccoli, blanched almonds and a little lemon curd. *Corn and celery with black beans, red bell pepper and sweetened balsamic vinegar (pinch or two light brown sugar per 1/4 cup balsamic) *Chopped fennel bulb and chopped broccoli steamed together with a pinch of red pepper flakes. *Green beans with sliced garlic and fennel seed. *carrots and potatoes with cumin and anise seed.
