1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese
1/2 lb ground lamb
1 med onion minced
1/3 cup raisins
1 tbl curry powder
1 x egg
2 tsp minced fresh parsley
2 tsp cumin
Salt to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Instructions: Soak 6 wooden skewers in water for 15 minutes. Blend the cottage cheese in a blender until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients except the cherry tomatoes. Mix until blended and then form the mixture into 24 meatballs.

Starting and ending with a meatball, alternately thread the meatballs and cherry tomatoes onto 6 wooden skewers. Oven broil the kabobs for about 10 to 15 minutes until the lamb is cooked through.

This recipe yields 6 servings.

Serving size: 1 kabob.
