seasoned flour
3 tbl olive oil tsp each mustard seeds turmeric fenugreek and cumin
50 gm ginger root peeled and finely sliced
3 x cloves of garlic finely sliced
2 x onions finely sliced
2 x green peppers cored seeded and sliced
675 gm new potatoes

Instructions: Cut away the black skin from the steaks and cut the flesh into 5cm (2in) square pieces Turn them in seasoned flour
heat the oil m a large casserole and throw in the spices Let them fry for a moment then add the fish turn the fish in the oil and the spices and then add 1.25 l of water and all the vegetables Bring to the boil and simmer for 50 to 60 minutes Give a good stir and adjust the seasoning

Serve with onions reblochon cheese and the salad below.
