Instructions: * Note: Ask your butcher to slice beef from the sirloin tip on the meat slicer. The slices should be about 1/8-inch thick.
Mix all ingredients except salt. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 3 to 24 hours. It will be better if allowed to marinate for 1 day. Add salt. Stir well. Grill individual slices over high heat. Each piece should take about 2 to 3 minutes. Warm pita on the grill. When the slices are cooked, place them on a cutting board and cut into 1/2-inch strips. Fill the pita pockets with meat, then Greek Salad, and if desired, a drizzle of plain yogurt. For the Greek Salad: Mix all ingredients together. Taste for seasoning and serve.
