1 cup Butter
1/2 cup Sugar
1 cup Water
4 x Egg whites
1/3 cup Flour
2/3 tsp Baking powder
1 pch Salt
----------------- CHOCOLATE ICING ----------------
Butter
2 cup Sugar
1 tsp Corn syrup
3/4 cup Evaporated milk
1 pch Salt
2 sqr chocolate
2 tbl Butter
Instructions:
Instructions: CAKE: Cream butter and sugar. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add to butter mixture alternately with water. Beat in whites, one at a time. Pour into sheet pan. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until done. CHOCOLATE ICING: Butter bottom and sides of saucepan. Combine rest of ingredients and bring to rolling boil. Remove from heat. Add 2 tablespoons butter and vanilla.
