Instructions: Steam the asparagus until just barely tender. Put on a metal tray that has been coated with non-stick cooking spray. If you are using olive oil cook the garlic cloves in a few tablespoons to flavor the oil. Discard the browned cloves. Pour the oil over the asparagus.
If you are using olive oil spray apply it to the asparagus and then dust with garlic powder. Top with cheese and put under hot broiler until little brown spots appear on the cheese. This doesnt take long maybe a minute or two- so watch it carefully. Meanwhile, fry the eggs. Remove the asparagus from the tray to two plates and top with the eggs. Serves two. Email this Recipe:
