Instructions: For relish combine tomatoes, basil, lemon juice and Worcestershire; season to
taste with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until serving time. Coarsely mash beans with potato masher, or pulse in a food processor. In a bowl, mix in tomato, green onions, minced garlic, thyme, sage, cumin, salt and peppers. Mix in enough cornmeal to make a firm but not dry mixture. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours. (if using the shorter time, place mixture in freezer for part of the time to speed chilling). then form into patties. Grease a large skillet with olive oil or spray; cook over medium heat until browned, about 5 minutes on each side. Broil bread 6 inches from heat source until browned, 2 to 3 minutes on each side; rub both sides of bread with cut clove of garlic. Spoon Tomato-Basil Relish on bread; top with bean patties.
