2 med garlic cloves minced
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 can crushed tomatoes - (28 oz)
1/2 tsp basil
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
----------------- CHICKEN AND PASTA ----------------
1 lrg egg
1/2 cup dried bread crumbs - (to 1)
2 whl boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup olive oil
3/4 cup grated mozzeralla cheese
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
8 oz angel hair pasta
Instructions:
Instructions: For the Sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, cook garlic in oil. Dont let brown or the garlic will turn bitter. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat and keep warm.

For the Chicken And Pasta: Cook pasta according to package directions.

Preheat broiler. Gently pound chicken breasts to 1/4-inch thickness. Beat egg and 1/4 teaspoon salt in shallow bowl. Mix breadcrumbs and 1/4 teaspoon salt in shallow bowl. Dip chicken in egg and then breadcrumbs. Cook chicken in oil in non-stick pan until done.

Top with equal parts cheeses. Place on rack and broil in oven for 3 minutes or until cheese melts.

To Serve: Spoon desired amount of sauce over chicken and pasta.
