3/4 cup chopped celery
2 tbl butter
1/2 cup croutons
4 tbl freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 x egg slightly beaten
1 lb ground beef
4 tbl chopped onion
1 x clove garlic minced
4 tbl catsup
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: Saute the chopped celery in the butter for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from the heat and stir in the croutons, Parmesan cheese and egg. Spread this mixture over the bottom of a buttered 9 inch pie pan Mix the beef, onion, garlic, catsup, oregano, salt and pepper. Place on top of the "crust" in the pie pan. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and turn the heat up to 400. Spoon out any excess fat from the pie and cover with the mozzarella slices. Return to the oven for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.

Makes 4-5 servings.
