Instructions: Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat and saute the garlic and onion until they are soft. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the ribs. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Pour the sauce over the ribs and marinate in the fridge for 24 hours. Drain the sauce/marinade off and reserve it. Grill or roast the ribs, basting often with the sauce, 1 1/2 hours. I like these marinated, but you may skip the marinating and just grill the ribs using the sauce for basting and passing at the table.
