Instructions: This cake can also be put together in a pretty bowl. I buy chocolate mousse mix and prepare it as per the directions: Set aside.
Break the cake into chunks and add a layer in the bottom of the dish-add a layer of the mousse, some Cool Whip and a sprinkle of crushed candy. Repeat ending with Cool Whip and sprinkle the top with crushed candy. I also drizzle chocolate sauce (homemade or from the store) over the top of the dessert. Refrigerate until serving time. Serves about 10. This is a wonderful dessert. If you use this recipe, get the largest Cool Whip they sell and increase the crushed candy to 7 or 8 bars. You can also drizzle any liqueur like Amaretto or Kahlua over the cake if desired. Jan Email this Recipe:
