20 sm cucumbers, up to 25
1/8 tsp alum
1 x clove garlic
2 x heads fresh dill
1 x Hot pepper
1 cup coarse salt
3 qt water
1 qt cider vinegar
Instructions:
Instructions: Wash cucumbers. Let stand overnight pack in jars.

Boil vinegar brine, pour over cucumbers and seal.

Makes 6 to 8 quarts.
