Instructions: Grease and flour tube or bundt pan.

In a small bowl pare and slice 6 medium apples. ( If you cut them smaller, the cake tastes better ) Mix the 5 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon into apples.

In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together until smooth.

Pour batter alternating with apples. Start and end with batter.

Make sure that you put enough batter in the bottom of the pan. After the apples sit in the batter, they sink and the cake falls apart when taken out of the pan.

Bake 350 for 1 hour and 15 - 20 minutes.

Yield: 1 bundt cake
