Instructions: In a covered jar, combine dry milk, water, and flour.

Cover and shake well to blend.

Add parsley flakes and black pepper.

Cover and shake again to blend.

Pour mixture into a medium saucepan sprayed with butter flavored cooking spray.

Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat.

Use in any recipe that requires a medium cream sauce.

Makes 1 1/2 cups

VARIATIONS:
JOS CHEESY CREAM SAUCE This cheesy cream sauce is great in traditional casseroles. Add 3/4 cup ( 3 ounces ) shredded reduced fat cheddar or swiss cheese after pouring mixture into saucepan. Continue cooking as usual.

JOS MUSHROOM SAUCE This can be used in any recipe that calls for a can of cream of mushroom soup.

Add 1/2 cup ( one 2.5 ounce jar ) drained sliced mushrooms after pouring mixture into saucepan. Continue cooking as usual.

JOS PEANUT SAUCE This sauce is "out of this world" spooned over boiled cabbage or in any oriental dish.

Add 1/4 cup reduced fat peanut butter and 2 teaspoons reduced sodium soy sauce after pouring mixture into saucepan. Continue cooking as usual.
