Instructions: Combine kasha and egg white; mix thoroughly.
Put kasha mixture into large preheated skillet. Cook , stirring constantly, until grains separate, 2 minutes. Gradually pour in broth; add thyme and pepper. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer 20-25 minutes, until liquid is absorbed. Preheat large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; add oil and heat for 30 more seconds. Add leeks and mushroom; cook, stirring frequently, 5 minutes, until just tender. Spoon kasha into large bowl; fluff with fork. Add leeks and mushroom; stir to combine and serve. Email this Recipe:
