Instructions: Serve this sauce over a brownie and ice cream and it will truly be DEATH BY CHOCOLATE! Makes a great gift in a cute little jar.

Melt the butter and chocolate in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add boiling water and stir well. Mix in the sugar and corn syrup until sauce is smooth. Boil the sauce, without stirring, for 10 minutes (a low boil); remove from heat; cool 20 minutes, then add the vanilla.
