Ingredients:

GENERAL ----------------
2 med -sized slices of crustless stale, soaked briefly in bread, water
500 gm Lean minced lamb or beef, (1lb)
1 med -sized onion, finely chopped
2 tbl Freshly chopped mint or 1 teaspoon dried mint
1 tbl Freshly chopped parsley
1 x Clove garlic, crushed
1 x Egg
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
----------------- FOR FRYING ----------------
Plain flour, for dusting
Instructions:
Instructions: Squeeze out excess water from the bread, leaving it quite dry.

Combine all the ingredients for the kofte and mix well.

Make walnut-shaped balls and keep them covered until they are to be cooked.

Then roll them lightly in flour and fry in hot oil for 2-3 minutes until golden all over.
