Instructions: Wash cucumbers. Let stand in cold water overnight. Pack in hot sterilized jars. To each quart add 2 heads dill, 1 clove garlic, and 1/8 teaspoon alum. Combine salt, Water, vinegar; heat to boiling, fill jars. Put grape leaf on top of each jar, seal.
