Instructions: Cover bottom of 9 x 13" pan with graham cracker crumbs. Reserve 1 cup of the crumbs. Slice 2 or 3 bananas crosswise and layer over crumbs. Slice ice cream (Neapolitan or strawberry) in 1/2 thick slices and place over bananas, making sure to completely cover banana layer. Sprinkle ice cream with 1 cup nuts. Freeze until firm. Melt chocolate chips and butter. Add evaporated milk and powdered sugar. Cook mixture until thick and smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Cool chocolate mixture, then pour over frozen ice cream layer. Freeze until firm. Whip cream as usual, with sugar and vanilla to taste (heck, I cheat and use Cool Whip!), spread over chocolate layer and top with reserved crumbs. Cover and freeze.
