Instructions: Over low heat, warm milk in a large, heavy pan (the heavier the pan, the less likely your mixture will scorch).
When milk is warm to the touch (after about 10 minutes), slowly stir in cheese. Wait for cheese to melt completely (about 1/2 hour), stirring occasionally, then add remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly and remove from heat. Mixture is best when reheated in the microwave. Note: Do not attempt to make this recipe in a crockpot; the cheese will not melt correctly. Also, its best to use a processed cheese. High-quality cheese becomes lumpy when it melts. Yield: 4 cups Email this Recipe:
