Instructions: Combine the egg beaters, milk, liqueur, cinnamon & cloves in a medium bowl. Whisk until the batter gets foamy. Dip both sides of the bread into the batter. Dont soak the bread, or it will get tough. Cook over medium heat in a skillet thats been sprayed lightly with vegetable oil cooking spray. Turn when lightly browned. Dust with powdered sugar & have some warm maple syrup ready.
Makes 6 servings. Serving suggestions: Garnish with orange wedges. Serve with fresh sliced melon. Spoon some fat free cottage cheese alongside the toast. Email this Recipe:
