Ingredients:

60 gm walnuts
2 tbl liquid glucose
60 gm butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions:
Instructions: Finely chop walnuts.

Combine glucose, butter and sugar in a saucepan and stir over low heat until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved.

Remove from heat and stir in flour and walnuts; mix well.

Lightly grease a flat oven tray and drop level teaspoons onto tray about 10 cm apart. The mixture will spread during cooking so allow for this. Bake 5-6 at a time.

Bake in a 190 C oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove from oven and let sit for about 30 seconds or until mixture is just firm enough to lift from the tray with a metal spatula.

Working quickly, carefully lift biscuits onto a wire rack; biscuits become crisp on cooling.

Store biscuits in an air tight container.

Makes about 25.
