Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
4 tsp garlic chopped
150 gm coconut grated if fresh or desiccated
1/2 tsp tamannd pulp diluted in 2 teaspoons of water
2 sm dried red chillies deseeded broken up and soaked for 5 minutes
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine all the ingredients add a little water and blend to a semi solid chutney in a food processor.

If the taste is too sharp add more coconut.

Serve with hot rotis and a vegetable curry.

This recipe comes from coastal India where coconut is the base for nearly everything. It adds a lift to any meal and leftover chutney can be used as a sandwich filling.
