Instructions: In large bowl, mix tomato sauce, salsa and olive oil. Chop roma tomatoes, red onion, green onions, and cilantro, and add to the bowl. Squeeze juice from lemon into the salsa.
Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise and discard seeds. Finely chop the jalapeno pepper and add to bowl. Mix and add salt and/or garlic powder to taste. Serve with baked tortilla chips or reduced-fat wheat crackers. Salsa also can be used as a marinade, or topping for grilled chicken or fish. Serving size: 1/4 cup Email this Recipe:
