1 x (3.5 ounce) can flaked coconut
1 x (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract

1. Blend the eggs, sugar, and cornstarch. Add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla; stir well. Devide filling into pie shells. Sprinkle with coconut.

2. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 to 45 minutes, or until firm.

Makes 2 pies

This is my mothers recipe. I have used it for years. She was the best cook.
