Ingredients:

1/2 x cabbage, green
750 gm potatoes, medium
300 ml sour cream
1 tbl vinegar, white
1 tsp sugar (caster)
1 tbl vegetable oil
1 x onions, medium
4 slc bacon
Instructions:
Instructions: Boil or steam cabbage until tender. Drain well and set aside.

Boil or steam potatoes until tender. Allow to cool slightly, slice 1cm thickness. Set aside.

Dice onion and bacon.

Heat oil in a pan and saute onion and bacon for 3 minutes, set aside.

Combine sour cream, vinegar and sugar in a bowl and mix to combine.

Alternate layers of cabbage, potato and sour cream mixture in a buttered ovenproof dish, finishing top with the cream. Top with onion-bacon mixture and grated cheese.

Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes until heated through and golden brown.

Serves 6.
