4 cup mixed greens torn
1 can garbanzo beans (15 oz) drained
1 cup cherry tomatoes quartered or
halved, red or yellow
1 cup fennel bulbs thinly sliced
or celery
1 cup yellow bell pepper chopped
and/or red bell pepper chopped
1 cup turkey ham diced, (6oz)
1/4 cup green onion thinly sliced
1 cup nonfat mayonnaise or dressing
2 tbl milk
1 tbl fennel snipped
or 1 tsp fennel seed
1/8 tsp white pepper or black
3/4 cup lowfat cheddar cheese smoke flavor
Instructions:
Instructions: Place mixed greens in the bottom of a 2 1/2 qt clear salad bowl.

Layer in the following order: garbanzo beans, tomatoes, sliced fennel or celery, colored peppers, turkey ham and green onion.

For dressing, stir together mayonnaise or salad dressing, milk snipped fennel tops or fennel seed and white or black pepper.

Spread the dressing over the top of the salad, sealing to the edge of the bowl. Cover tightly with clear plastic wrap.

Chill for 4 to 24 hours.

Before serving top with cheese. Toss gently to mix.

Makes
8-10 side dish servings.
