Instructions: Soak onions (which have been chopped) in ice for 2 hours. Take 1/2 cup salt and sprinkle among onions in ice water. Drain well.
Make syrup of sugar, vinegar, celery seed, turmeric and mustard. Let syrup come to a boil. Add onions and let come to a boil. Pack in jars and seal at once. Email this Recipe:
