Amount Ingredient
1 pkt green split peas
1 pkt yellow split peas
4 stalk celery thinly sliced
1 lrg onion chopped, fine
2 x cloves garlic minced
1/2 tsp white pepper
10 cup corned beef liquid
6 cup water
1 cup carrots thin sliced or grate
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine all ingredients in the same pot youve just cook the corned beef and veggies in. Bring to a boil, then cook until peas are soft, about 2 - 3 hours, on simmer. Stir often as peas tend to stick and burn. Add more water if necessary.

Soup freezes well. I keep the liquid warm while we eat dinner. Then I throw all the ingredients in the pot and cook. It will be ready for the freezer or fridge by the time you go to bed.
