Instructions: Blend arrowroot with a little cold water.
Wash lemons and grate rind. Place lemon rind and juice, sugar, and water into a saucepan and bring to boil. Whisk in the dissolved arrowroot, bring to a gentle boil and stir for 3 minutes. Separate the eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff. Pour hot mixture over them, beating well. Pour into moulds and allow to set in the refrigerator, Serve with cream or custard. Email this Recipe:
