3 tbl butter
1 cup sugar
4 x egg yolks
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 tsp salt
3 tbl flour
1 cup milk
4 x egg whites
Instructions:
Instructions: Cream butter, add sugar gradually and cream until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks, beat well. Add the flour, lemon juice and salt, mix well.

Stir in milk. Blend in 1/4 cup almonds. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture. Pour into baking dish. Set in pan of hot water and bake 40 minutes at 325 degrees. Turn heat to 350 degrees and bake 10 minutes, or until brown. Sprinkle With remaining almonds and serve either warm or chilled.

Makes 8 servings.

This is a light dessert.
