Instructions: Drain the peaches well and slice them. Put them in an oven-proof dish. Melt the fat in a saucepan and mix down the flour. Beat down the milk and let boil for a few minutes while beating. Add lemon rind, lemon juice, sugar, and egg yolks. Beat the egg whites stiff and fold them down.
Spread this over the peaches and bake in a water bath in the oven, 175iC/350iF, for 30 - 35 minutes. Serve the dessert. Email this Recipe:
