Instructions: Put the gelatin in cold water for about 10 minutes. Part egg yolks and egg whites and save the egg whites. Beat egg yolks and sugar vigorously until its white and porous. Add lemon juice and lemon peel. E
Squeeze the water out of the gelatin leaves and melt them over low heat. Add the melted gelatine to the egg mixture while beating. Whip the cream and add that too, folding it down carefully. Beat the egg whites stiff and fold them into the mixture. Pour the fromage into four bowls which you put in the freezer for about 2 1/2 hours. E Cut the remaining lemon peel in thin shreds. Decorate with a dollop of whipped cream and a little lemon peel. NOTES : Bella Says: In Sweden we often make this dessert called "fromage" (which actually is the French word for "cheese"). But its no cheese of course, just cheesy-like in texture, when the cheese is newly made and still soft and nice.
