2 lb fresh asparagus trimmed
2 tbl butter melted
4 tbl fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place the asparagus in a 9- by 13-inch baking dish.

In a small bowl, combine the butter, lemon juice, and 2 teaspoons of the lemon peel; mix well and pour over the asparagus. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until desired tenderness.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the remaining 2 teaspoons lemon peel. Serve immediately.

This recipe yields 4 servings.

Serving size: 6 to 8 asparagus stalks.
