Instructions: Grate zest from lemon. Chop walnuts.
Butter a 20 X10 cm loaf pan. Pre-heat oven to 350F/190C degrees. Sift together flour and baking powder. Add eggs, butter, sugar, a dash of salt, walnuts, and lemon zest and beat together well. Pour into prepared loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes or until a tester comes out clean. While bread is still hot, mix together lemon juice and sugar for the glaze and pour over bread.
