1 x sweet pastry case 230mm round or oblong
100 gm butter
100 gm soft brown sugar
2 x level tbsp self raising flour
75 gm chopped walnuts
2 x eggs separated
Instructions:
Instructions: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the flour walnuts egg yolks lemon rind and juice.

Whisk egg whites until stiff and fold them in. Pour into flan case and bake on the floor of the roasting ovenfor 45 minutes until golden and risen.

Serve with cream or citrus sauce.
